Ayudha Pooja is traditionally done on the Ashtami (Eighth day) of the Navaratri Festival. Customarily, implements used for livelihood are worshipped on this day, a symbolic affair reminding man of Supreme Divine grace. In Prasanthi, it has been customary to worship the vehicles used by Bhagawan including the Golden Chariot during the occasion, a custom set by Bhagawan Himself decades ago.
