Lord Narasimha in Prashanthi Nilayam.

Sri. Sankara narayanan, my friend, known as Hari was in Mumbai and had after retirement permanently settled in Puttaparthi. Here is his greatest experience which happed very recently.

Shankaranarayan (Hari) was admitted at the Sri Sathya Sai superspeciality hospital covid centre at Puttaparthi on April 16th. His condition had deteriorated. Normally there are two beds in the ICU room but I suppose when a covid patient is admitted they keep only one person. And so he lay in the hospital bed all alone . He kept tossing on the bed as he couldn't get sleep.. He perhaps thought his end is nearing. He mentally surrendered to Swami saying I am ready to join you.

Around 10pm on 23rd April he opened his eyes and was stunned to see a blue light in the room and an eye staring at him. The single eye which stared at him looked different and seemed like a big cat's initially but turned out to be of a Lion's. But the body was that of a magestic person's! Then he realised he was having divine darshan of Narasimha Murthy Avatar. He was roaring away all negativities perhaps the Yama doothas as well! He chanted Narasimha stotram and prostrated. That's all he remembers. Next day the nurse on duty told him his parameters were back to normal. His oxygen level improved. He could breath comfortably etc. Then on the health improved and on 28th covid negative report was given. On 28th evening he was discharged.

When I inquired whether his family diety was Narsimhaji he said that it was Mataji. So I was slightly surprised. So he said wait, the story is not yet over. Listen to the entire story.

Once home, he was narrating the whole divine experience to his wife. After listening to the entire episode his wife burst out into tears; so Hari asked her now why are you crying I am back home safe and sound. The other interesting part of the scenario. It seems when his condition deteriorated his wife requested all his friends to pray for her husband's speedy recovery. Now one group of ISKCON devotees guided by Lord and lead by Shri Raghavendra Rao, stays at Badlapur (Shri Raghavendra Rao is private secretary to Shri Sunil Gavaskarji) decided to perform Havan with camphor by chanting 108 times of Narasimha kavach stotram thru zoom meet online.

These ISCON friends were spread all over India. Some in Madhya Pradesh, some in Mathura, some in Mumbai, some in Kolkatta etc. They in turn had requested their friends as well. But this Havan which was conducted for his wellness was neither informed to Hari nor he knew anything about such things happening. So the net effect of this mantra was so strong that Swami appeared as Ugra Narasimha Avatar and protected his devotee. Jai Sairam.
