Everlasting Impression by the Eternal Companion
This 4 Minute Video song (with English subtitles ) became part of my aaradhana during last 2 days . It captures 'the pulse', Swami’s reactions, reflexes and responses and all those other important moments and profound messages brought by this song of 31st Oct2009.
'The eternal Companion' made an everlasting impression on us during this Last trip of ours with the Divinity in physical form ... a Trip to Hadshi and Mumbai in Oct-Nov2009. (Don't skip the end of Video as there comes 'a new beginning' )
This song was presented by the famous playback singer Sonu Nigam in Mumbai on Oct 31st 2009.
We were part of the entourage who accompanied Swami and this programme was on the day when we reached Mumbai. Sonu began with couple of songs from Shirdi Baba film (Saibaba Bolo..etc) and Anoop Jalota ‘patented’ bhajans and devotional songs like ‘aisi laagi lagan’ (a famous Meera bhajan).
Then Sonu asks for ‘permission’ from swami to sing this 'philosophic' (this is how he described ) title song from a Hindi blockbuster 'Kal Ho Naa Ho' ..a film in which SRK plays the lead role, co-produced and Story written by Karan Johar. Watch Swami’s reaction while giving immediate consent to Sonu. As if Swami Himself planted that idea in Sonu’s mind to sing this . Sonu goes ahead to sing the song . Swami claps and catches to the rhythmic tunes of music and the lyrics.
This is very rare, happens only when He is totally engrossed (Music -Shankar Mahadevan , Loy , Ehsaan, Lyrics - Javed Akhtar ).
I was ' not on duty ' this time, so i too was deeply engrossed in the programme, just couple of feet away from Swami and Sonu on the stage. Neither I nor anyone else realized at that time that this song was actually a fore-teller, a 'philosophical' song which narrated the emotional story which unfolded in April2011.. within few months .
BUT THE SONG ALSO CONVEYS A PROFOUND MESSAGE of ‘Power of Now’ . Swami also Says, 'Present is Omnipresent '.. a Message to Live in the Present and to grab the Opportunity to live it fully in dedication to Omnipresent Swami.
Sonu took opportunity to Live that moment with SWAMI with that LIVE CONCERT and Swami Blessed Sonu with a materialised ring and Sonu kissed His Lotus feet . A lifetime blessing to Sonu (and His son Nevan too ). That ring reminds Sonu even now that Sai is with him always.
So too is SAI in our lives , in our hearts and in the nook and corner of His creation ...

Video carries subtitles in English . Lyrics are so powerful and profound as if song was composed keeping Swami in mind and Film Story was prepared based on Swami’s life of Sacrifice. My loyalty of being an Aamir fan came to danger due to this film and SRK's splendid performance.
Today is ‘Mahasamadhi’ Day .. it is called so . 'Mahasamadhi of Omnipresent Swami' is an oxymoron-ic statement . Nevertheless, it is important to devote some time for Swami within . So, take a melodious break, find a quiet corner , relax and listen to the song and watch Swami’s involvement and 'Bangaru' Sonu's performance.
Aaradhana Mahostavam .. Singing the glory , Vedic chanting , Yagnam , Worship is getting over. But for us the individuals, it is the beginning . Work is Worship .. This Worship starts ‘Now’ for His Mission . Why wait for tomorrow because as Sonu said … कल हो ना हो 'KAL HO NA HO’
